VITAGRO Energy, part of the VITAGRO Group of Companies, was founded in 2018 to invest in and develop renewable energy projects in Ukraine. The company began its activities with the construction of four solar power plants with a total capacity of 15.6 MW. Thanks to these solar power plants, we renovated 30 hectares of land, created new jobs, and became a significant taxpayer.

Today, VITAGRO Energy is a developer of alternative energy projects, offering turnkey project development, construction, and management of energy assets. The company has built a biogas plant, which was reoriented to produce biomethane, with a production capacity of 3 million m³ per year. The plant processes livestock and crop waste to produce biomethane (green gas) and organic fertilizers in solid and liquid fractions (75,000 tons/year).

Another ambitious project of VITAGRO Energy is the construction of a bioethanol production plant. The bioethanol facility has a capacity of 35,000 m³ per year. This plant is innovative: the distillers’ grains remaining after fermentation, containing 30% protein, are dried, producing 28,000 tons of high-protein feed additive (DDGS). The plant processes 85,000 tons of corn per year, producing liquid fuel and a high-protein feed additive.
